Design: The Axiom by Formica range has been developed in response to trends in kitchen
and interior design and offers a wide variety of looks for the design-conscious consumer. Offering over 70 different designs, the refreshed range includes new colours and fresh twists on design classics.

Texture: Tactile qualities are as important as colour and design when choosing a worktop, in order to give your kitchen a natural looking finish. With eight laminate textures in the Axiom by Formica range, a complementary finish is available to suit each worktop design, including the exclusive new texture Lustre. The Axiom by Formica range has been developed in response to trends in kitchen and interior design and offers a wide variety of looks for the design-conscious consumer. Offering over 70 different designs, the refreshed range includes new colours and fresh twists on design classics.

Material: Choosing the best material for the kitchen is a crucial design decision. The Axiom Signature range contains a choice of premium laminate textures and other worktop materials, from sleek, modern Solid Surfacing to the natural style of real Solid Wood.

Quality Assurance: The prestigious FIRA Gold Award has been awarded for both Axiom and Axiom Shapes underlining the quality of worktops from Axiom.

Specification:

The Axiom high pressure decorative laminate surface is manufactured to EN438, and is inherently heat, moisture and UV resistant. The surface also provides protection from impact and os highly resistant to wear.

A choice of profiles, each with a wrap-under laminate to the front edge producing a drip barrier and offering maximum protection from moisture ingress.

The substrate is a high density chipboard manufactured to EN312 part 3 P2 grade.

The rear edge is sealed against moisture ingress with an injected hot melt wax.

A resin impregnated foil is applied to the underside of the worksurface to offer moisture resistance.

The front edge of the underside of the worksurface features a rebate and 10mm waterproof adhesive barrier which runs the length of the worktop to act as an additional moisture barrier.

One free cut:
Worktop prices also include a single cut across the width, if required, making transportation easier. However please allow for a 25mm 'spoilage' when specifying the exact position of the cut.

Cleaning:
A moist cloth is all that is needed to clean the worktop. More stubborn marks and grease can easily be removed with a little washing up liquid or, in the case of difficult to remove marks, methylated spirits can be used sparingly. For further guidance please refer to the care leaflet supplied with each worktop.
